Who we are

Crypto Tax Authority (“we,” “us”) is an educational publisher founded by Rafael Stuchiner, a retired NYC tax attorney. What we collect

We collect only what you give us, plus a small amount of basic visit information.

• Free guide sign-up: your first name, last name (optional) and email address.
• Contact and CPA partnership forms: your name, email, phone (optional), firm and state (CPA form), subject and message.
• Scheduling a call or buying a program: handled on Systeme.io pages that we link to. They collect the details needed to book the call or process your order. We do not store your card number.
• How you found us: if you arrive from an ad or a link that carries tags such as utm_source, we save those tags with your sign-up so we know which message worked.
• Visit counts: we use a privacy-focused analytics service (Vercel Web Analytics) that counts page views and where visitors came from. It is designed not to use cookies and not to follow you across other websites.
• Standard server records: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical records (such as your IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To send you the guide you asked for.
• To send occasional educational emails about crypto tax rules and our programs. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and set up calls you request.
• To run our programs and keep our records.
• To understand which pages and messages are useful, and to improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and to follow the law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We use a few service providers who handle data for us under their own privacy terms:

• Vercel: runs and secures this website and provides our visit counts.
• Neon: stores the information you submit through our forms.
• Systeme.io: email delivery, scheduling, checkout and course access.
• Our newsletter service: if you subscribe to The Crypto Tax Authority Brief (when the sign-up is active).

Cookies and tracking

Our own pages do not use advertising or retargeting cookies or pixels today. Pages run by other companies that we link to, such as Systeme.io checkout and scheduling, may set their own cookies. If we ever add advertising or retargeting tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your permission where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep sign-up and inquiry records for as long as we need them for the purposes above. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. You can also ask us to delete your information, and we will do so unless we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any email.
• Ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• If you live in a state or country with privacy rights (for example, California), you may have additional rights. Email us and we will respond within 45 days.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us account numbers, passwords, private keys, seed phrases or full tax records through our forms or email.

Children

Our site and programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Education only

Crypto Tax Authority provides education, not legal, tax or financial advice. Using this site or contacting us does not create an attorney-client or advisor-client relationship.

We may update this policy. The date below shows the latest version.
